The short answer
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. PDF Inbox has no accounts, no servers and no database on our side. Everything the app knows lives on your device.
Deleting your library
Uninstalling PDF Inbox deletes everything the app had stored: the copies of your documents, the extracted text, the categories and what it had learned from your corrections.
Your original files are not touched: they stay wherever they were before you added them.
Without uninstalling, from inside the app you can also:
- Delete any document from its own page.
- Clear what the app has learned from your corrections, in Settings → What it learned.
- Free the space used by thumbnails, in Settings → Storage.
Advertising identifier
The only identifier involved is your device’s advertising ID, which belongs to the operating system and not to us. You can reset or disable it from your phone’s settings, and you can refuse personalised advertising from Settings → Privacy inside the app.
